I’ve had the pleasure of sitting in windowless rooms like this one in many of Lower Manhattan’s finest post-production facilities. No alright, I kid. I kid. I got plenty of Vitamin D eventually the next morning.
I started out as the Vault Manager for Number Six (NO6) and within a year began assisting the editors there. In October of 2020, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, I began my freelance career. As you probably remember, remote work had revolutionized the industry and I suddenly found myself upgraded to working out of a sweaty shoebox apartment... with a window though.
Over the years, I’ve lent a hand at commercial joints like N06, Cartel, Exile, Cabin, and Work Editorial. I consider this period to be a real world equivalent maybe to a graduate program in post production. In so far as I could smell the money burning all around me.
